BMW Ghost Immobiliser
The Ghost utilizes the CAN data bus to communicate with your vehicle. This stops thieves from replacing the ECU or installing an additional lock to circumvent the security system.
The Ghost is different from other immobilisers in that it doesn't rely on key fobs or LED indicators. It relies on the buttons of your vehicle to let you to enter a unique sequence of disarming that only you know.
Stop & Start
If you've ever driven a new BMW or utilized the stop start feature then you may have noticed that once stopped the engine will still continue to run for around 30 seconds after releasing the brake pedal. This is due to the BMW engine management system continuously monitoring your vehicle for a signal from the ignition key, and if this is found it will keep running. Our BMW ghost immobiliser is an innovative next-generation device that doesn't require cutting OEM wires or adding aftermarket alarm and key fobs. It is connected to the BMW CAN data network, and is programmed with an unique PIN code which is accessible through buttons on your car. This allows you to enter the key sequences which aren't accessible through the standard menus for media. For instance, volume up/down or source controls, cruise control, air conditioning and more. The PIN can be between 4 and 20 numbers, so it is extremely difficult for thieves to figure out or crack.

Service Mode / Valet Mode

This is a great option for those who need to turn their cars over to valet companies or other trusted friends and family members. This lets you bring your vehicle to the garage for servicing, etc. without fearing that it will be modified by a mechanic while you wait.
If the service/valet mode has been enabled and enabled, your BMW will not be able to drive after it has been turned on. This will stop anyone else from attempting to drive it while you are away. Once you return it will revert back to normal stopping your vehicle from being damaged or stolen once again.

Anti-Hijack
Ghost created this subtle device that is unobtrusive and helps in battling the growing sophistication of hi-tech thieves. It's designed to stop thieves from adding a new key or replacing the ECU in order to start your car and drive away. Ghost connects to your CAN network and uses buttons on your vehicle to generate an unique push-sequence which must be entered before the engine can begin.
This will activate the anti-hijack mode and once active any attempt to start the engine will be stopped. The system will hone the horn flashing the indicators, and stall the vehicle when the code isn't found. The Anti-Hijack feature can be disabled by entering your push sequence or by enabling service mode, which allows your car to temporarily begin and drive, without having to enter your PIN.
If you own a GPS device that is connected to your BMW it is possible to utilize it to disable the Anti-Hijack function so that you can continue to use your navigation system while the vehicle is parked. If you have a smart-phone you can also connect it up to your Ghost app to control the anti-hijack feature and other functions.

We can connect the Ghost device to your mobile application to allow remote control of keyless start and go functions. The system lets you start the vehicle by selecting drive, then quit the service mode without having to use your key fobs. You can also track your vehicle's location on a map in real-time on your smartphone.
The Ghost can be placed under the dashboard or in the centre console, it is completely concealed and tamperproof and doesn't require any additional wiring. The device is connected to the CAN Data Network of the vehicle (similar to Ethernet cable) and a unique pin code is programmed into it. This pin code has to be selected prior to the engine starting. This stops thieves from gaining access to the system using an unauthorized clone or replacement ECU.
If the vehicle is stolen in any way, the Ghost will enter a service mode and shut down all functions until the PIN code is entered, or you can make use of the mobile app to disable it. This feature was created to protect you vehicle from thieves using high-tech devices who use relay boxes to take it.
